Almendra is a Portuguese parish in the municipality of Vila Nova de Foz Côa, with an area of 54.51 km² and 386 inhabitants (2011), thus having a population density of 7.1 inhabitants / km².
It is considered one of the most beautiful historic towns in Portugal, retaining some monuments.
It has a deactivated train station, once integrated into the Douro Line.
